Privacy and Data Notice
Last updated: 8 August 2026. This operational notice explains the information currently collected through turkeywellness.com.tr. It is not a substitute for independent legal advice about data-protection obligations.
About this website
Turkey Wellness publishes medical-tourism information and provides online enquiry forms. The website is not an emergency service. Information on the site does not replace an examination, diagnosis or advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Privacy questions and requests can currently be sent to [email protected]. The site’s legal operator and any participating healthcare provider must be identified to you before you enter a treatment agreement or send sensitive health information.
Information collected through forms
- The general enquiry form asks for a name, email address, phone number, treatment area and an optional message.
- The newsletter form asks for an email address and separate newsletter consent.
- Technical security records may include an IP address, browser information, request time and requested URL.
The public enquiry form is not designed to receive medical records, diagnoses, identity documents or intimate medical photographs. Do not submit those materials through the general message field or by unsolicited email. If a provider later requests sensitive information, first verify that provider and review its own privacy notice, security method, retention terms and lawful basis.
How enquiries are used
Enquiry details are used to read and respond to the request, operate and secure the website, prevent misuse and keep records needed to manage the correspondence. Current form notifications are routed to Turkey Wellness email accounts used for enquiry administration. WordPress or the form software may also retain submission records depending on the active configuration.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a doctor-patient relationship and does not guarantee eligibility, price, availability or a treatment result.
Newsletter
Newsletter messages should be sent only when separate consent has been provided. You may withdraw that consent using an unsubscribe method in the message or by contacting the address above. Withdrawing newsletter consent does not affect a separate enquiry.
Service providers and international access
The site uses hosting, security, content-delivery, anti-spam, analytics or email services to operate. These providers may process limited technical or communication data in other countries under their own service arrangements. Do not assume that WhatsApp, ordinary email or a social-media message is an appropriate channel for confidential medical information.
Cookies and measurement
WordPress and connected services may use necessary security or session cookies. Analytics, advertising or embedded third-party services may use additional storage where enabled. Any consent banner must accurately reflect the scripts that actually run and must provide the choices required in the visitor’s jurisdiction.
Retention and security
Information should be retained only for as long as needed to handle an enquiry, meet applicable record-keeping duties, resolve disputes and protect the service. No internet or email system can be described as completely confidential or risk-free. Reasonable access controls and deletion procedures must be maintained by the website operator and any provider that receives information.
Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may be entitled to ask about personal information, request a copy or correction, object to certain uses, withdraw consent or request deletion. Send a request to [email protected]. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed, and some records may need to be retained where legally required.
Changes to this notice
This notice should be updated whenever the forms, providers, analytics, advertising, data recipients or operating entity change. Material changes will be shown by updating the date at the top of this page.
